Sam is an officer of low rank whose everyday life experiences reversal when he receives a task to correct a tiny administrative error. Namely, due to a fly caught in the printer, instead of the notorious terrorist, an innocent shoemaker is arrested and then murdered. Sam lives in the dystopian consumerist reality of the film Brazil (1985) by Terry Gilliam, surrounded by installation channels that connect unreliable, but ubiquitous technology. His fictional work space is the living environment of some of the protagonists of the Laurent Kronental’s series of photographs, Souvenir d’un Futur (Memory of a Future). The space in question is the residential complex Les Espaces d’Abraxas by architect Ricardo Bofill, one of the famous mass housing complexes (grand ensemble) at the edge of Paris.
